KidsCare of Pennsbury provides a wide range of school-age child care services to the Pennsbury School District's parents and children. We offer several morning and afternoon (full-time or part-time) programs to suit the ever-changing needs of parents and children. Our wide variety of fun, safe, and educational enrollment options provide a healthy and caring atmosphere for children before school, after school, and during school holidays.

Our teachers are all licensed with extensive K-5 experience. They meet the PA Department of Human Services (DHS) requirements. They are required to take additional professional development courses in first aid, fire safety, CPR, and several age-appropriate child development courses. Additionally, all staff must have a child abuse history clearance, criminal history clearance, and annual physical examination. Each class has a lead instructor (teacher) and educational aides.

Mission Statement

KidsCare of Pennsbury, founded in 1991, provides high-quality school-age child care for families in a safe, friendly, and child-centered environment. It offers diverse enrichment and learning activities that reinforce the educational experiences of self-esteem, develop skills for navigating challenging situations, avoid negative behaviors, foster positive social relationships, and embrace a healthy respect for the community. Our purpose is to provide children and families with high-quality, structured before-school, after-school, school-holidays, and summer camp programs in partnership with the Pennsbury School District. Our programs, licensed by the DHS, are all developmentally age-appropriate and are taught by certified teachers. We take pride in our unique, creative theme-based curricula, including arts and crafts, sports, STEM, music, drama, homework helper, and more.
